Marmite Chicken Wings

Once upon a time, I had some deep fried marmite chicken wings.

They were GOOD.

I cannot remember though where I had those wings, so I tried to make some at home tonight.

Here though is when baking doesn't work as well as frying.

Maybe because marmite is so sticky.. so I should have diluted it before marinating the chicken wings with it. Whatever it is, the chicken wings tasted great, but the skin didn't turn out as crispy as I would like and was just a tad too chewy.

If you like chewy chicken wings though, these would be perfect for you.

This is one of the dishes that i will eat a lot (i'm basically a half-vegetarian, i prefer veggies). Don't know who invent this, genius!

Great! I have a bottle of Marmite that has been lying around (cos nobody likes it). I will try one day. Just marinate with Marmite and nothing else?

I prefer vegetables too! But I like seafood too much!

I used marmite and freshly ground black pepper. :) the marmite taste isn't overpowering. Next time I'd mix the marmite a little water and canola oil when marinating so that it wouldn't be as chewy
