Fish and Chips

I love Fish and Chips - especially if the fish is fresh, the batter thick and crispy. I don't particularly like your typical thick-cut fries that comes with Fish and Chips, but the restaurant will score well if they serve Fish and Chips with mashed green peas and homemade tartar sauce - like this pub at Canary Wharf.

I was so glad to have Fish and Chips in the home of Fish and Chips - United Kingdom. (Hm... some would argue it is Australia actually.. )

What's your favourite place for Fish and Chips? The one I like in Singapore is at the Serangoon Gardens market - no mashed green peas and fancy fries, but the fish is usually very good.

Favourite fish-and-chips : New Zealand. And most F&C shop on the street will serve better F&C than any I'd tasted before round the world.

Or maybe cos I haven't tasted Canary's :p

After I have taken those F&C sold at small shops in UK, I never seems to find a good one here in PJ or KL. I love their simple vinegar to go with the fish :-D

F&C with mashed peas...hmmm.. I just stared and stared at the green mash when I got mine. I thought it weird. But they were good!

I agree with you Steph! I think the one at Canary Wharf is just above average to my English colleagues. But it was really good to me!

Me too! The first time I had this was in a restaurant in Shanghai. It looked so strange but I loved it
